Every year we organise a special liveaboard trip: longer than the standard 4 days/4 nights, and we also visit the southern divesites. The last few years the trips have been 10 or 11 days and have visited a.o. Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Phi Phi, Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock and Surin.

Equipment

As divers, we can not do without equipment: it keeps us alive and enables us to admire the completely different and lovely underwater world. We rely on our equipment, and want to enjoy diving without worrying about the reliability of our equipment.

We of Thailand Liveaboards (thailand-scuba.com) know this all too well, and offer you two choices: you can rent (partially or completely) our equipment or you can bring and use your own equipment.
Please note: in most of our liveaboard prices rental equipment is not included.

Rental

We have rental equipment of three different brands: Scubapro, Cressi Sub and Seac Sub, to make sure we have the correct size and comfortable fit for everybody.

All our rental gear (including the tanks) is serviced and visually inspected regularly. On top of that: except for the tanks, none of the equipment is older than two years; every year we replace about half of the BCD's and regulators.
All this to make sure that you can always dive with equipment in excellent condition, on which after all your life depends.

The equipment rental prices are per day:

A full set comprises all the items mentioned before the sets, plus for a liveaboard diving trip also an U/W light including batteries for the nightdives.
Because of the number of dives made on a liveaboard trip, you will get chilly a lot easier than on daytrips. Quite often it is therefor a good idea to rent a full length wetsuit in stead of the standard shorty wetsuit.

Sales

We don't only have quality equipment for rent, we can offer you a wide range of brands and equipment for sale as well. Quite some of the masks, snorkels, fins and wetsuits are made locally, and offer excellent value for little money. Also snorkelingsets are of good quality and very reasonably priced. In general prices of BCD's and regulators as well as of brand masks, snorkels, fins and wetsuits are on par with those in the other parts of the world.

Besides these items, we also sell the rest; cameras, disposable cameras, surface markers, maskstraps, finstraps, mouthpieces, defog, fishguides, areaguides and of course all other accessories like carabiners, retractors, reels, etc. Normally all these items are quite cheap to buy here.

We have on offer: Suunto, Uwatec, Scubapro, Aqualung, US Divers, Seaquest, Seac Sub, Cressi Sub, Mares, Tusa, Dacor, Saekodive, Techni Sub, Apeks, Deep Blue, Tribord, Ocean Dynamics, Sea & Sea, Pelican, Intova, Snapsights, OMS, UK Underwater Kinetics, Trident, and all PADI and DAN materials.

All our diving guests get a discount on equipment purchases! Every year we also have a BCD and regulator sale! After we have replaced our rental BCD's and regulators, we offer these to our guests at very attractive prices.

Spare

Never mind how good you and we take care of the equipment, sometimes something does go wrong with it. But we do not want you to miss out on the lovely diving we have here in the phuket area. So we make sure that there is always spare equipment on the boat: regulator-BCD-fins-mask-shorty wetsuit and for a liveaboard necessary things like lights, surface markers, etc.

So whether you use your own equipment our ours, you can be assured we will do everything we can to make sure you can enjoy your dives!
