September 2011 was an average September: some wet days, some sunny days, and on most days some sun and some rain.
Very important for diving in the area is the wind, and we had a slightly below average number of days with a slight breeze. On 12 days we had a moderate or strong wind, slightly above average. Most of these days we experienced at the end of the month, when a couple of typhoons in the Philippines and Vietnam caused stronger winds on Phuket as well. This also meant that on one day this month we could not dive in the Shark Point area and on two days we were limited to diving at Racha Yai Island.
All in all, September 2011 was an average September.
